Robertson- Van Loveren - Zuid Afrika

As we continued our road trip, we passed through Robertson and stopped at Van Loveren Winery to enjoy a tasting of their most exclusive wines. It certainly did not disappoint. While they are generally known for their affordable wines—available at retailers like Gall & Gall—at the estate itself, you can find selections from their premium, higher-end segment.

They work with a wide variety of grapes, ranging from Sauvignon Blanc and Colombard to Pinot Noir and Pinotage, from which they manage to produce some truly beautiful wines.

It is also worth noting their commitment to sustainability. They have established initiatives that not only give nature the chance to flourish but also provide their employees with numerous opportunities to participate in the winemaking and development process.
