The price includes a course book (value: €45). Over eight evenings, you'll deepen your wine knowledge. In this Wijnbrevet wine course, you'll learn more about tasting and evaluating wine, the characteristics of grape varieties, global wine regions, winemaking, quality characteristics and variations, wine legislation, and how to understand wine labels. During these evenings, I will ensure that: • You know the most important wine styles • You understand the key factors that determine a wine's style • You know the main grape varieties and their characteristics • You can categorize the world's major wine regions • You can interpret the terms on a wine label according to wine style • You learn to taste for yourself, like a vinologist tastes • You can distinguish between the most important still wines • You can distinguish between the most important sparkling wines • You can assess the quality of wines yourself • You can write clear, well-defined tasting notes • You can identify and evaluate various wine-food pairings • After this course, you will be fully prepared for the Vinologist program at the Wine Academy
